While walking by the garden center of my local store, I spotted a new offering: Collard Greens. I happen to like Collards a lot, but I always thought of them as plants that thrive in the far south. This variety is called Georgia Hybrid Collards. I had to buy one to see how well it grows! Here’s a couple of pics of it’s planting. The fertilizer I’m using is Dr. Earth’s Homegrown Organic. The soil was amended with some overwintered timothy hay that I dug in before planting.
