I’ve been so busy with renovations that I haven’t been able to keep up with this blog as much as I’d wanted to. I’m 2 months behind in posting, however I’ve been taking pictures of all the projects, and now that I’m finally finding some time to sort through them, I’ll be catching up on posts!
We had the roof re-done in August. We chose roofing tiles from Pabco, in the color Buckskin Tan. We didn’t want to wait another year to re-roof. The existing roof had some heavy clumps of moss, and the last thing we wanted to deal with was a leaking roof during the winter. Fortunately the plywood was dry and still usable, none of it needed replacement. No water had infiltrated past the shingles and felt, that was good news. Thanks to Stewart Roofing for a job well done.
Here’s some pics of the process:
Ah…what a difference a fresh roof makes! It’s kind of nice to have a look back at this summer day. It’s been a rainy autumn here so far, and these sunny pictures cheer me. I hope they do the same for you 🙂
